Open Tryouts for Boys and Girls U7 - U18 have been completed. There may still be some open positions on some teams. Please call to schedule a tryout.

What Age Group is my Child?

How do Tryouts Work?
After the scheduled tryouts, a smaller group of players may be asked back for additional evaluation. There may be several of these before the coach makes his or her final decisions.

What Should the Player Bring?
Players should wear regular soccer gear, including shinguards, and bring a ball and water. Parents will have to sign a registration/waiver form, which can be downloaded or it can be filled out and signed at the field.

Can a Player Get on a Team at Other Times of the Year?
Even after tryouts, teams may have some roster spots open. Please contact Ruben Nava, Director of Recruiting, at (619)799-1726 and the coach of the appropriate age group will be contacted to schedule a time for the player to come out to a practice session.

Can a Player "play up"?
A very few players may "play up" one year. Sign up for your child's actual age group based on their birth date, and then have a discussion with the coaching staff after tryouts about wether playing up makes sense for the player.
